As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Advanced Propulsion Laboratory at the University of Washington, I had the opportunity to work on the development of a CubeSat satellite. This was a challenging and rewarding experience that provided me with valuable insight into the design and development of complex systems.
One of my key contributions to the CubeSat team was the design of a communications software architecture paradigm for the on-board computer systems of the satellite. This involved researching and evaluating different software architecture paradigms to determine which would be the best fit for the project.
Overall, my contributions to the CubeSat team at the Advanced Propulsion Laboratory were significant and impactful, and I am proud of the work that I did to help advance the project. My experience with the project helped to deepen my knowledge and expertise in software engineering and communications architecture design, and it provided valuable experience in working on complex systems.
